On April 1st 2008, Henkell & Co. Sektkellerei KG takes over a qualifying majority shareholding of the Italian Prosecco supplier, Mionetto S.p.A. located in Valdobbiadene, Treviso.
Mionetto S.p.A. accounts for a turnover of over 12 million bottles in its portfolio of top quality products. The Portfolio of the company, founded in 1887, includes some well-known brands of prosecco, wine and spirits such as Mionetto, La Pieve and Amistani. The company is also successful internationally and is expanding its activities, particularly in North America.
