Founded in 1864 by Johann Jacob Söhnlein, the company’s sparkling wines quickly enjoyed a high reputation at home and abroad.

Today the name Söhnlein is predominantly associated with the brand “Söhnlein Brillant“, which along with SÖHNLEIN BRILLANT MEDIUM DRY, introduced in October 2003, and the premium and founder’s brand SÖHNLEIN RHEINGOLD, complete the Söhnlein range.
