Törley becomes the favourite sparkling wine of the Baltic states
First subsidiary in the Baltics
In 1995, Budampex AS is founded as an import and distribution company, and since then, ensures that wine, sparkling wine and spirits produced all over Europe are available in the Baltic countries. In 2009, Henkell & Co. acquires a qualified majority stake in Budampex, and now this Estonian subsidiary distributes leading brands produced by different companies in Spain, Italy, Poland and other European countries throughout the Baltic states.
Top market ranking comes quickly
Rapid success is the fruit of Budampex’s activities. Within just a few years, Hungary’s leading sparkling wine brand, Törley, dominates the market in Estonia. Other Henkell & Co. products marketed by Budampex in the Baltic states include Germany’s famous success story Henkell Trocken, Lubuski Gin from Poland, the Romanian brand Angelli and the ever-popular Ukrainian sparkling wines Ukrainskoye and Krimgrad.
