Henkell & Co. to expands its range of products in the sparkling wine segment

In March 2012 Henkell & Co. Sektkellerei KG bought Cava producer Cavas Hill in Moja, Alt Penedes.

The company was established in 1887 and therefore draws on experience which goes back for more than a century, and is steeped in tradition. It uses solid know-how and the latest technology to produce wines and Cava sparkling wine of the very finest quality. The company produces 2 million bottles of Cava and wine a year and operates on both a domestic market and export market.

The acquisition of Cavas Hill and the addition of a Cava speciality allows Henkell & Co. to expand its range of products in the sparkling wine segment.
