Enhancing presence in the Baltics

Since the start of 2011, Henkell & Co. has a base in the Latvian capital of Riga. Its new subsidiary is called Henkell & Co. Baltic SIA, and its responsibility is to work closely with Budampex in Estonia. Founding a separate company in Latvia enables the Group to focus more effectively on its customers in the country and further consolidate its leading position in the Baltic region.

Törley imports lead the market

The new Latvian member of the Henkell & Co. family is responsible for marketing Hungarian brands Törley and BB, and it also handles the marketing of well-known German brands such as Henkell Trocken. Even before the founding of the new subsidiary, Henkell & Co. enjoyed considerable success in Latvia: its Törley brand is already number two in the sparkling wine market, having quickly gained ground as Latvia’s strongest import brand.
