Good connections in the European market
Henkell & Co. founds a subsidiary in Poland in 1996, Henkell & Söhnlein Polska. One year later, it acquires a majority stake in Vinpol Sp. z o.o. and it proceeds to combine the marketing activities of its two Polish companies. The complete takeover by Henkell & Co. in 2000 marks a new era of expansion in the company’s history. Vinpol benefits from accession to the EU

It acquires leading Polish gin brand Lubuski Gin in 2009, making it the undisputed number one name for gin in the country.
