The small yet elegant Alfred Gratien Champagne Cellars in Epernay, France, were able to achieve outstanding results with a total of six awards at the MUNDUSvini, one of the largest officially recognised wine competitions. The upper-premium Alfred Gratien Cuvée Paradis Brut Rosé Champagne received the much coveted Grand Gold Award, with four other products from the Alfred Gratien Cellars being rated with Gold at the same time. These were Champagne Alfred Gratien Brut Rosé, Champagne Alfred Gratien Brut Millesimé 1999, Champagne Alfred Gratien Cuvée Paradis Brut and Champagne Alfred Gratien Blanc de Blancs. Furthermore, Champagne Alfred Gratien Brut Classique achieved a Silver Medal. The international jury of experts for this renowned competition assessed more than 6,000 products this year from 42 countries.
On top of all that, Champagne Alfred Gratien Brut Millésimé 1999 was one of this year’s prestigious MASTER award winners (over 18 out of 20 possible points) of the London based Drinks Business magazine.
The highly successful performance of these long-established Champagne Cellars highlights the exclusive character of its products and offers consumers who are especially quality-conscious genuine help in reaching a decision. The name of Alfred Gratien stands for products of distinction, with the first fermentation already taking place in their own cellars before they mature into noble Champagne in the second fermentation.
