Silver Medal for harmonious red wine from Palatinate

The Koblenz-based Deinhard KG was awarded a silver medal for its Deinhard Pinot Noir 2009 in the International Wine Contest organized by Monde Selection – International Institute for Quality Selections.

The jury was won over by the harmonious red quality wine that originates from designated growing regions in Palatinate, conveying full character and full fruit taste with a light but expressive body. Its rich mineral taste develops best with light, refined, and modern dishes, especially with fowl, grilled vegetables, or seasoned Asian food.

Monde Selection’s International Wine Contest is an annual international competition acknowledged by the European Union. The independent jury consists of professional wine tasters and oenologists, who rate the wines from more than 20 countries in a blind tasting.
