DTM reception at Henkell & Co.

Guests celebrate the opening of the racing season 2010 with the teams

21.04.2010

Henkellsfeld, for 100 years the headquarters of Henkell & Co. Sektkellerei in Wiesbaden, Germany, once again opened the doors to its imposing premises for a festive occasion. As the event location for a reception to mark the opening of the DTM season, the company offered renewed evidence of its qualities as a host.

On the evening prior to the DTM presentation, which this year took place in Wiesbaden for the first time, the DTM teams met with participating car makers, media representatives and invited celebrities for a splendid party. Among those present were the former German Defence Minister, Dr. Franz-Josef Jung and practically the complete paddocks of the competing teams of Audi and Mercedes Benz, including Ralf Schumacher and the twice DTM Champion Timo Scheider.

Along with the sparkling wine and flying buffet, many stimulating discussions took place at the informal reception and the thrilled anticipation of the following Sunday’s event in Wiesbaden, where 110,000 spectators were expected, was noticeable at all times. The musical accompaniment to the evening was provided by pianist José Rodriguez and singer Natascha Wright.
